The Bible says that even the demons believe that Jesus is the son of God and they tremble. And that is so true! I have read and heard testimonies of all sorts of people who were possessed being terrified at the mention of Jesus name! I listened to this man give his testimony one time and I was amazed. He talked about how he had to do a report in college on something controversial and he chose magic. Whether it was real or not. So during his search he found some pretty deep books to use as a reference. He was taking the side that it was not real but as he searched his mind began to change. He began to be drawn by the idea of more "power". After being led by darkness, he met more and more people that were into the "occult" and he was eventually invited to a "get together" with some of the people. So at midnight he showed up at the address that he was given and the people who answer are wearing all black, hooded robes. He walks in and immediately recognizes one of the people in a black hood as his high school history teacher. He was so shocked because he actually knew someone from his past that was into all this stuff. So he says he is walking in the house, down a hallway into a black bedroom and as he is walking he notices weird pictures on the walls. There were pictures of crosses upside down and all kind of "satanic" stuff. He begins to realize that this isnt just witch stuff anymore, this is devil worship. They get in a circle and tell him that they can see an inner power in him that wants to come out and that the devil can make that happen for him! He can make the gift that is inside of him more powerful than he could imagine. He is kinda freaks out a bit and holds it together long enough to leave. Well as he thinks more and more about what happened he becomes more and more drawn by the idea of power.
After a few days, he contacts the people again and they induct him into the church of Satan. And YES there is a church of satan if you were wondering. It is very real. So after a few months in the church he is eventually moved up in rank to what is called the "High Priest". He was actually the one leading the rituals. He said that one day they were doing their rituals and one of the members spoke up and said that there was a lady down the street that was a "do gooder" and she was giving him problems. She was saying stuff like "I know what yall are doing" and "I am going to expose it", and the member wanted her "taken care of". So the high priest says ok we will send a demon after her. They pray to satan and call forth a demon, he said that the demon manifested itself and they told him where she lived and sent him after her. Well after he left they went on about their ungodly business. After about 15 minutes the demon began to manifest itself again and it was thrashing about the room furious! They were terrified and listened as it screamed "Dont you EVER send me after a Holy Ghost filled believer!" The high priest was so shocked...he saw in that moment that something had more power that the devil that he served had!
I love that! Dont you ever send me after a Holy Ghost filled believer again! Thats right! The Lord is more powerful that anyone or anything else! And any believer that is full of the Holy Ghost is too much for any devil!
Now the positive thing for this high priest was that after realizing that he wasnt tapped into ultimate power, he left the satanic church and gave his heart to Jesus! Praise God!
