Recieve Ye the Holy Ghost!

I want to share the testimony of my husbands struggle with the baptism in the Holy Ghost. He has an amazing testimony that I should write another post about later, but for now I am just going to share this! My husband came out of the Mission of Hope (great place! But baptist...which is awesome!), he had been delivered from much! Well he had never been to Oak Park of Merge before but one Thursday night he feels like God wants him to come to Merge. He is nervous because he doesnt know ANYONE. But he comes anyways! He begins to talk with people and he makes jokes about us being pentecostal and he even makes the statement "It is one of the lesser gifts" LOL Well after a month or so we began to date and he started coming to Oak Park. He sort of began to have an interest in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Now as a side note....let me just say...this joker was already FULL of the Spirit. I saw on him love on people like Jesus would have more than half of us did lol! But the baptism is different it is an extra gift! So he begins to seek. Pastor would have altar calls about being baptized in the Holy Ghost and Brian would go. He would lift his hands and ask God for it and he wouldnt receive it. He went like 3 or 4 times...until he began to get frustrated. I remember one night he was so upset that I began to cry and try to prove to him that it was REAL. He was getting pretty down...Well he finally came to the realization that he probably wouldnt receive it in front of a bunch of people. He is a more private person anyways and he doesnt believe that he will be able to with all the stuff going on around him in a church. So a few months later I am getting ready to go to a Monster truck show. I was at my moms house and about to go pick up Brian at his house...I was leaving and I called him to let him know I was on my way! Well he answers the phone and he is kinda hesitant. I said "Hey are you ready I am on my way..." and he quietly says..."Umm I dont know.." and I said "Babe! Whats a matter???" and he starts to cry and he says "I think God just baptized me in the Holy Ghost!" I was like "WWHHATTT! You spoke in tongues!!" and he said "yes! HAHA" I asked him how and he said that he was getting dressed and he was watching Sonlife in his room, and Donnie Swaggart was preaching. He said that Donnie was preaching on the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and that he gave an altar call that said "I dont care if you are in your room at home...kneel by your bed and receive ye the Holy Ghost!" And he said that he knelt down and God did it! He felt it coming and he began to speak with other tongues!
              He is an awesome man of God and I love him! He is anointed to share the Word with everyone he comes in contact with! He is such a bold witness for Jesus! He has also been given the gift of discernment! He can listen to someone talk and tell you if they are lying or not. Kinda crazy lol!! So if you are scared, or unsure of the Holy Ghost, it is so awesome! It is so real! Read Acts Ch 2! And if you have sought it and not received...dont give up! God is faithful and He will do it!
