The subtle enemy...

I just want to expound on the fact that the enemy is a subtle creature...yes sometimes he comes at us pretty hardcore, with some in your face stuff, but not usually. My husband made this statement the other night when I was telling one of my experience stories and I got a little defensive...(Not sure why lol just a crazy woman thing I guess) But he is exactly right!!! The stories that I have written on here were not an everyday thing! These events took place over many years. From the time I was young all the way until recently. If you read this an assumed it all happened in one span of time you might think o man how did she handle that?? But that is the thing, it was here and there, crazy thing here, nothing for a while, then boom something crazy! So my husband was exactly right! The devil is subtle! He comes at us over time and trys to get a foothold. He doesnt come at us guns blazing all the time...usually its just enough to wear us down little by little. He will chip away piece by piece and get in where ever he can! Dont give the devil a foothold in your life, home, and mind! HE comes in and trys to conceal himself...only revealing his true plan once he has you where he wants you! Or he might try to pop up here and there to instill fear! HE is sneaky...just like in the garden! Adam and Eve were tricked by his subtlety! HE came to them seeming nice and he said "Eat of the fruit...it wont really kill you...it ll actually make you better!" He came at them with a subtle twist of Gods word and they fell for it! Don't fall for it! Someone demon possessed might not come at you or after you full blown speaking in latin and eyes black as night...flopping on the ground like a snake! They will probably be there subtly being divisive trying to break you down! Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and he will help you divide the truth from the lies!
